This course is designed for rheumatologists who would like:- To obtain a EULAR Teach-the-Teachers Certification and advance to EULAR Competency Assessment in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (MSUS) in Rheumatology – Level 2
- To organise Basic MSUS Courses Scientifically Endorsed by EULAR

Learning objectives
To teach:- Skills for lectures and hands-on workshops.
- Organisation of the educational and logistic aspects of MSUS courses.
- Assessment of knowledge and skills of participants in MSUS courses.
To assess:
- The knowledge and skills in MSUS.
- Teaching capabilities of future teachers in EULAR scientifically endorsed MSUS courses.
Application Requirements
All participants must have completed the EULAR Competency Assessment in Musculoskeletal ultrasound (MSUS) in Rheumatology - Level 1.
Pre-course assignment instructions
1. Live demo - Short hands-on ultrasound demonstration- Participants should be prepared to conduct a 10-minute group teaching session on a randomly assigned anatomical area typically covered in rheumatological ultrasound courses (please see the programme for more information). The topic of this hands-on session will be assigned onsite.
2. Lecture - (PowerPoint presentation) on a randomly assigned topic
- Participants should prepare a 10-minute lecture (PowerPoint presentation) on a topic assigned randomly by EULAR, which will be communicated via email after successful enrolment (please see the programme for more information).

Registration
Kindly note that registration is scheduled to open in January 2026.
To register, log in to your EULAR School of Rheumatology user account, navigate to the appropriate course page, and submit your application with all requested documents included.
Upon successful review and approval of your application by EULAR, you will be eligible to complete the registration by submitting the course fee payment.
An official confirmation email will be sent to you upon approval of your registration.
Applications submitted via email will not be processed.

Bursary
EULAR does not grant bursaries for this course.
Certificate of Attendance
Upon successful completion of the course, participants who meet all requirements, including both the practical and theoretical components of the MSUS assessments, will be awarded the following certifications:
- EULAR Certificate for Ultrasound Trainers in Rheumatology - Certificate of attendance.
- EULAR Competency Assessment in MSUS in Rheumatology - Level 2.
Please note that full attendance (100%) is required to receive the certificates.
CME Accreditation
EACCME
EULAR will apply for EACCME accreditation for this course.
Upon successful completion of the course, all participants will receive a certificate of attendance via their EULAR School of Rheumatology user account. Please note that full attendance (100%) is required to receive the certificate.
Ethical MedTech
EULAR will apply for Ethical MedTech accreditation for this course.
Terms & Conditions
Cancellation Policy
The participant has the right to cancel the registration without providing any justification within 14 days from the conclusion of the agreement, which is defined as the receipt of our confirmation email. The participant loses the right of withdrawal, if the participant attends the course before the expiry of the right of withdrawal.
