In 2015, EULAR launched the Competency Assessment in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (MSUS) in Rheumatology. The assessment is provided for two levels of competency:
LEVEL 1: minimum competency necessary to perform full rheumatologic MSUS examination without supervision, which will be achieved after passing the exam of the Advanced EULAR MSUS Course and receiving a EULAR certificate.
LEVEL 2: competency necessary to teach MSUS, which will be achieved after passing the exam of the EULAR Course for US Trainers (Teach the Teachers) and receiving a EULAR certificate.
How to qualify for Level 2?
- You must have successfully completed the following:
- Achieve Level 1 competency
- Attend the EULAR Course for US Trainers and successfully pass the theoretical and practical exam
