About this course
Welcome to the Quality of Care (QoC) webinar
The workup and management of patients with Giant Cell Arteritis
In this upcoming webinar on vasculitis, Christina Ponte, Christian Dejaco, and Bernhard Hellmich will delve into crucial aspects based on the recently synthesized evidence. Christina Ponte will elucidate the clinical evaluation of individuals suspected of giant cell arteritis, encompassing differential diagnosis and current classification criteria. Furthermore, Christian Dejaco will shed light on the essential imaging modalities required for patients with suspected giant cell arteritis. Bernhard Hellmich will outline the available management options. By integrating the expertise and research findings from the publications on treat-to-target recommendations in giant cell arteritis and polymyalgia rheumatic, as well as EULAR recommendations for imaging in large vessel vasculitis, this webinar aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the pathophysiology, diagnosis, imaging, management, and collaborative strategies in the care of patients with vasculitis syndromes.
